This course covers topics on psychological disorders
which includes anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders,
schizophrenia, and others. It discusses integration of multiple perspectives in
explaining psychological disorders, and touches on clinical assessment and
intervention of the disorders. Current Malaysian context and the Islamic
perspective (e.g., Quranic, Hadith, Sirah examples and Maqasid
Shariah) related to the psychological disorders and mental health
practices are also discussed.
