The lectures provide a framework and expose the students to the basic concepts in the anatomy and physiology of body fluids, excitable tissues, blood, autonomic nervous system, and embryology. This enables them to apply their anatomy and physiological knowledge to the nursing profession. The integrated approach to transferring knowledge also equips the students with problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
