This course will provide basic understanding about systems and management in mariculture

activity. Then, it will discuss in detail about methods and development of marine culture

technique for important marine species for food, ornamental and bioproduct.

It covers topics such as technical aspects in site selection, culture techniques, facilities and

culture system preparations. The course will also include environmental impacts and its

mitigations approach in mariculture. Students will endeavor experience handling mariculture

activity via mini project and visit on selected fish farming companies in Malaysia.
