The course focuses on post-contract administration of construction contracts, one of the key roles of a Quantity Surveyor. It deals with the administration of construction contracts as prescribed by the various Standard Forms of Contract in use in Malaysia by the relevant Acts, and by the customs and traditions of Malaysia's construction industry. Efforts will be made to relate the general principles of contract administration for construction projects to the broad principles of Islam. The course provides exposure to basic current software packages related to post-contract administration.
