The course aims to acquaint students with the fundamental theory and history of East Asian and South East Asian architecture by region and its built heritage. It also analyses the influences of conditions (of social, cultural, religious, ideological and technological (factors) which influence the manifestation of heritage buildings and the built environment.
The course is a core course for architecture programme as required by the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM-Part 1)
