AHBS 2317 Medical Microbiology emphasizes the pathogenesis mechanisms of significant pathogens in the human body. Students will also be introduced to the prevention and treatment strategies for infections both in face-to-face classes and during the Problem Based Learning (PBL) sessions. During the PBL sessions, students will be empowered to manage their information-seeking activities, which in turn can enhance their critical thinking skills in solving infection-related cases. Additionally, students will be tasked with handling a group project, which allows them not only to gain deeper knowledge about infections and their infectious agents, but also provides an opportunity for them to execute a program effectively.
